How it works

  1. 1. Copy the songs. One song per line, like "Artist - Title". Numbered lists are fine.
  2. 2. Paste them into SwitchTunes and give the playlist a name.
  3. 3. Pick Apple Music, TIDAL or YouTube Music and sign in. We find every song and create the playlist, in the same order, with a report of anything we couldn't find.

Can I put a ChatGPT playlist into Apple Music?

Yes. Copy the song list ChatGPT gives you, paste it into switchtunes.com/import/, choose Apple Music, and SwitchTunes finds each song and creates the playlist in your library. It's free, up to 2,500 songs.

Can the AI send me a link instead of a list?

Yes. Ask it for a SwitchTunes import link and point it at switchtunes.com/llms.txt. The link opens SwitchTunes with the songs already filled in; you check the list and start the import.

What if the AI made up a song?

Songs that don't exist, or aren't on your music service, are skipped and listed in your results so you can see exactly what was missed. Everything that matched is still added.

Does this work with Spotify?

Not as a destination. Spotify no longer lets new apps create playlists in people's accounts. Apple Music, TIDAL and YouTube Music all work.

Is it really free?

Yes. Importing a list is free, up to 2,500 songs for Apple Music and TIDAL and 50 for YouTube Music. You need an active subscription on the music service itself to create playlists there.
