The service
SwitchTunes transfers playlists between music streaming platforms. We search for each track on the destination platform by title and artist and create a new playlist with the matches we find. We do not guarantee a 100% match rate — some songs may be unavailable on the destination platform or may not be found due to differences in catalog metadata.
Free tier
You may transfer playlists of up to 50 songs at no cost. No credit card is required for free transfers.
Paid transfers
Playlists with more than 50 songs require a one-time payment of $3.99 per transfer, up to 2,500 songs. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. By completing payment you authorize us to charge the stated amount.
Refunds
If a paid transfer fails to complete due to an error on our end, we will issue a full refund. If the transfer completes but some songs were not matched, that is expected behavior and not grounds for a refund — you can see the match count before paying. Contact us at hello@switchtunes.com if you believe there was an error.
Your accounts
You are responsible for having valid, active accounts on the source and destination platforms. SwitchTunes acts on your behalf using OAuth — you must have the rights to read from the source and write to the destination. We do not store your passwords and cannot access your accounts beyond what is needed to perform the transfer.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use SwitchTunes to transfer playlists you do not own or have rights to, to automate or script transfers in bulk, or to do anything that violates the terms of service of the connected music platforms.
Limitation of liability
SwitchTunes is provided as-is. We are not liable for any loss of data, playlist content, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transfer in question.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
