Can I move Apple Music playlists to a free Spotify account?
Yes. Spotify playlist creation works with free Spotify accounts.
Why do I need an Apple Music subscription?
Apple only lets MusicKit access a user library when the Apple ID has an active Apple Music subscription.
Will Apple-only tracks transfer?
Only if the same song is available on Spotify. Unmatched songs are shown in the results.
Is this secure?
Yes. You sign in on each service's own login screen using OAuth, so SwitchTunes never sees or stores your password. We only request permission to read your playlists and create new ones, every connection runs over encrypted HTTPS, and you can disconnect any platform from your account at any time.
