Playlist transfer

Transfer Spotify to YouTube Music

Copy Spotify playlists into YouTube Music without rebuilding them by hand. SwitchTunes reads your Spotify playlists, finds matching tracks on YouTube Music, and creates new destination playlists.

Temporarily paused

Spotify transfers are temporarily paused while we upgrade how we work with Spotify. Apple Music and YouTube Music transfers are unaffected.

Good to know

YouTube matching can be noisier

YouTube Music shares infrastructure with YouTube, so search results can include videos, covers, lyric videos, or uploads. SwitchTunes favors music matches, but YouTube routes can need more review than Spotify or Apple Music.

Permission for SwitchTunes to create playlists on your YouTube account

Spotify to YouTube Music FAQ

Will this create normal YouTube playlists or YouTube Music playlists?

The playlist is created on your YouTube account and appears in YouTube Music when the matched items are music tracks.

Does Spotify Premium matter?

No. SwitchTunes only needs permission to read your playlists.

Why might YouTube Music matches differ?

YouTube has official tracks, user uploads, videos, covers, and live versions. Some songs may need manual review after transfer.

Is this secure?

Yes. You sign in on each service's own login screen using OAuth, so SwitchTunes never sees or stores your password. We only request permission to read your playlists and create new ones, every connection runs over encrypted HTTPS, and you can disconnect any platform from your account at any time.
